Xiaomi CEO confirms Xiaomi TV coming November 14th!

There has been a lot of speculation over the rumored Xiaomi TV Android set-top box, but we can finally put some of it aside as CEO Lei Jun has confirmed his company will be offering the Apple TV like device, but best of all it will arrive in just 4 days!

Gizchina News of the week

Lei Jun announced on his Weibo microblog that his company will be launching their Xiaomi TV on the 14th November and it will support Apple Airplay, DNLA protocols and have a HDMI interface for connection to your TV.

Prices are rumoured to be around 499 Yuan, also not confirmed is the method of selling the Xiaomi TV’s, will they be available for pre-order only or launched on the Xiaomi online store directly?

I personally can’t wait to get my hands on the Xiaomi TV and have already sent a letter to Santa asking for one.

Will these be available for international buyers?

Does Xiaomi ship to the USA, or only China citizens?

    Will these support English?

I’m hoping this has a browser with flash, and the google play store, keeping fingers crossed!

    Let me know, thanks!

Andi, if you get your hands on one of these please make a video. I really think you should open an online store, especially for items thats hard to obtain for international buyers.
