Huawei Ascend P2 will have 720HD display?

Huawei’s Senior Vice President has been hitting up social media sites in China, and upsetting potential customers by suggesting the Huawei Ascend P2 might come with a 720HD display rather than a 1080 unit.

Yu Chengdong, has gone on the record saying that a 1080HD display on a sub 5-inch phone is a waste, and 720HD is more than adequate for a 4.7-inch phone such as his company’s up coming Ascend P2!

720p is good enough for a 4,7″ screen. Too bad almost all the new phones are bigger than 4,5″.
I’m really looking for a 4,3″ screen in a high-end Phone with the new MT6589.

This is hardly surprising. I’ve said it before,D series is Huawei’s premium line, and EVERYTHING ELSE,will be lower specked than the D2.
