Vivo Y19 to feature lower price and HD cameras

BBK’s Vivo phone brand usually hit the headlines with their high-priced flagship phones, but the company are trying to diversify with a range of new ‘Youth’ phones.

The Vivo Y19 will be the first lower cost Vivo in the new range. Full details haven’t been released but what we do know is that the phone will feature HIFI sounds, quad-core MTK processor and 4.5-inch display.

The main selling point of the Vivo Y19 will be its high specification cameras which are rumoured to have advanced optics along with a high mega-pixel count.

I think that success of this phones depends mostly on pricing, the first sub $160 (to international buyers) mtk quad will be a hit.

Why do manufacturers think the “Youth” want lesser RAM?
    If anything, they want more.

This is a direct translation from Chinese marketing. They are designed to be low-cost versions designed for students hence ‘Youth’
