To get around this we have bought a UMi X2 2GB from Antelife who will be shipping the phone on our behalf.

It’s insane to talk of give-away, when UMI / UMI India has not been able to deliver even a single UMI X2 to any of its customers who paid full amounts long back. Repeatedly, false promises are made to deliver UMI XII, today, tomorrow, day after which never comes.
This give-away is another GIMMICKS on behalf of UMI / UMI INDIA to dupe new innocent persons of their hard earned money. UMI / UMI India has only brought bad names to Chinese Products / Chinese Industry spoiling their future endeavor in India.
Ahmed Jamal Ibraihimi: this giveaway is not from Umi or from Umi India, this is from GizChina, and they have bought the phone from Antelife to give it to the visitor of their blog, for more details visit Gizchina.com and read complete details over there……….. GizChina has time and again posted about, the negative attitude of Umi India, and asked the customers to not pay the money till the phone is in the Market, so u can’t blame them, even I’m following Umi India since month of Feb. but I never paid the amount to them yet, as Gizchina has always updates us about the delay in the production due to various issues…….

You say you are purchasing UMI X2 from Antelife and Antelife shows that it already received the consignment of UMI X2 from UMI China for further sale of UMI X2 to new customers. What does it mean???
Not only UMI India is acting fraudulently but it is doing so in concert with UMI China. Don’t UMI China knows that thousands of Indian Customers paid full amount to UMI India in March, April and May 2013. How can UMI China sale its products to Antelife for new customers without first supplying UMI X2 to Chinese, Indian and other overseas Customers who already paid in full even before 15th May 2013. How can UMI China indulge in fraudulent sales to new customers through online seller without giving preference to its direct customers who has already paid in full???? Does not it amounts to business malpractice????
UMI whether itself or through its distributors has committed criminal breach of trust and fraud entitling heaviest of punishment.

So far no update from UMI for their International Customers, especially in Asia region, and all have been kept in Dark. I don’t think, this company can ever take care of their Customer and win their Heart, long way for them to go SAMSUNG WAY. Pathetic service, Ulterior motive to hide and come out with the best with no commitment. UMI fall on its own weight.

I tried the Umi X2 giveaway contest… but I get an error message. I already liked the facebook-page of Gizchina, but when I enter my email-address it says after pressing ‘ENTER’ at the top of the page: You must Like GizChina… If that means I do not yet like GizChina and I have to do it first on Facebook before sending my email-address: it is wrong… Unless it means: you must really like GizChina, in that case it is correct… coz I do!

I solved it… To enter the competition, I first had to un-like GizChina and after that enter the sweepstakes and say I like GizChina… It does not work if you already like GizChina… So I pretended for 1 second to not like GizChina. I hope GizChina can forgive me π
