Hot on the heels of the
Newman N2 and MTK powered
Newman K1 is the Newman Giant Panda, 5.3-inch Android
phone.
Newman have managed to keep a lid on the Newman
Giant Panda up until today, when the company began to promote the
new phone on popular
Chinese E-commerce site Tababo.
The
Giant Panda get's a 5.3-inch QHd display, black front with white rear (naturally) and will be powered by a 1.2-Ghz
quad-core MT6589
processor and 1GB RAM. Similar to the K1 this new, larger
phone will have a 2 mega-pixel front
camera, 8 mega-pixel rear and
Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Pricing in China has been announced at 1299 Yuan ($211), but is likely to be closer to $260 once
international resellers begin to offer the phone.
