GooPad N8, an Octacore Galaxy Tab 3 alternative

GooPad have somehow secured a supply chain for the 8-core Samsung Exynos Octa 5410 processor to build their own GooPad N8, Galaxy Tab 3 alternative.

It would be interesting to see what Samsung makes of the GooPad N8, as it is based on the design of the Korean firm’s Galaxy Tab 3 device and is even powered by the companies own Octa-core chipset!

Why can’t they make the bezel ultra thin?! It would add to everything this Phablet stands for. 8-core is the future for most devices of this nature. Along with other upgrades and improvements is the steady shrinking of the bezels on these devices. Perfect example is the Galaxy series of devices. Place an S2, S3, & S4 next to each other and compare the bezels. You will notice that the S4’s is the thinnest of the three… Why are some of the Manufacturer’s still missing the boat on this one… Not to mention that when your trying to cut costs less material though a small amount, does add up. In the long run this savings in material would be substantial, when several hundred thousand devices are concerned.

Yes, make it very thin, so you change the page you are on every time touch it

Very funny, but no, actually that’s not what happens. I have bought and sold sever Galaxy S4’s and they do not suffer from said issue. I buy and sell phones/tablets & laptops from time to time. Of course over the years electronics have been shrunken down smaller and smaller. Desktops to laptops, Laptops to tablets. Old large bulky tube TV’s to flat panel TV’s to flexible (almost indestructible) just about paper thin TV’s/color displays that can be mounted to your wall almost like wallpaper…

So my point is that if your going to say this product wouldn’t benefit from a much smaller frame area/bezel, I say it would… Larger surface area or screen real estate, while maintaining a better form factor for the average human hand
😉 Or in other words “user friendly” Of course very few people I would think will disagree that a smaller bezel does also add to the sexiness or high tech look of a device as well…

What resolution?? You keep forgetting to put one of the most important factors down. If it’s 1080p I am buying it.

1280×800, as far as source goes.

That’s what I heard and I think it’s a bizarre decision to give such an overpowering SoC such a weak screen. In every day usage this thing is hardly going to be distinguishable from a rockchip. No need for octa-core power and sgx544 MP3 on a screen like that.

Always buy from such people who are ready to help when there is any problem. I tried this company with a smart phone , the phone design and function are good, but Google Market is missing and when phone arrived, it has a noticeable scratch [ how did it pass QC before dispatch is a big question ], when we contacted them, they are avoiding and clearly show their attitude , not to serve customer. Now even though this company offer best of the products, I will never buy.

Products will keep on changing but insensitivity to customer complaint can’t be changed.
