Xolo Q500, a $130 Snapdragon S4 phone for India


India based phone maker Xolo have announced details of their Q500, a Snapdragon S4 phone with a very low $130 price tag!

For their latest phone Xolo have gone for something a little different compared to the usual rebranded MTK phones we are use do seeing. The Xolo Q500 receives a Snapdragon S4 Play chipset running at 1.2Ghz along with other cost conscious hardware to keep the retail price to just $130!

Other details included 1GB RAM, 5 mega-pixel rear camera, and 4-inch WVGA display. On the surface the Q500 looks like an interesting buy, but in reality will customers be tempted by the S4 phone when a comparable Mediatek phone boasts a better screen and performance?
