Remember a few months back when that amazing looking $50 JiaYu F1 showed up only to have TD-SCDMA support? Well good news! The WCDMA version of the JiaYu F1 has now got its network license and could go on sale soon.

While checking out the flagship JiaYu S2 network license over on the Tenaa website, we also came across the license for the WCDMA version of the JiaYu F1 smartphone. The F1, once on sale, will be one of the most afforcable Android smartphones with GSM and 3G WCDMA support on the market.

Gizchina News of the week

The JiaYu F1 is a cheap dual sim phone, but the design, specification and OS are all surprisingly good (we know as we have had one on test for a few weeks).

JiaYu F1 WCDMA Network License

Official Ministry specifications of the JiaYu F1 show the phone to measure just 124×62×10(mm) at a weight of 145g. The display is a 4-inch 800 x 480 display, 1.3Ghz dual-core processor, 512mb RAM and can support up to 32GB SD cards.

Like the JiaYu S2 we hope JiaYu launch the JiaYu F1 $50 dual sim phone ASAP!

If this phone could get an update to support the newer MUIU that is based on android 4.4 then this would be a really tasty phone.
