4G
lte is very much the thing to have here in
China, and local manufactures have been quick to take up the slack and
launch enabled devices.
The
Huawei Ascend Mate 2
LTE, was
first seen at CES earlier this year but has taken till this past week to officially go on sale. The 6.1-inch 720p
phablet costs just 2888 Yuan in
China (considerably less than a
Meizu MX3 in
France) and uses one of Huawei’s own 1.6Ghz quad-core processors.
The Mate 2 should also make an appearance outside of
China in the coming months but no
launch details have been confirmed.
