Sources in China believe that Mediatek and Meizu could be ready to launch their first phone together as early as August and that the device could have the all new MT6595 processor.
Meizu has already spoken out against the idea that their next top of the range device will have a Mediatek chip and that they have opted again for Samsung, but a mid-range phone could certainly still receive an MTK SoC.

If the rumours do become a reality the phone, which could launch as early as August, may well be the first device to get a MT6595 processor and be the first ever Meizu phone to ship with 4G LTE support.
