If you are in the market for a cheap wearable from a famous Chinese brand then keep your eyes on Chinese resellers after the 18th August for bargain priced Mi Band’s.

The Xiaomi Mi Band was announced during the Xiaomi Mi4 launch on the 22nd July. The Mi Band is a very basic device in the grand scheme of things, with a simply rubber wrist strap, and small box of tricks with LED notification lights.

What the Mi Band lacks in features though, it will more than make up for the retail price. In China the Xiaomi Mi Band will cost only 79 Yuan, even with a reseller mark up and customs fans outside of China can expect low prices of around just $18, that is considerably less than the current range of Android Wear devices!

Along with the Mi Band, the tiny 129 Yuan Xiaomi router (the one that looks like an Apple trackpad) will also go on sale.

Also this month keep your eyes peeled for the MIUI V6 launch and also our upcoming Xioami Mi4 review.
