Nexus 6 arrives in China as Moto X Pro

Moto-X-Pro

Nexus phones haven’t been officially sold in China (although they can be bought from grey markets) but at least now Chinese phone consumers can but the Nexus 6 under a new name.

Motorola have launched their latest flagship phone in China. Named the Moto X Pro, the phone may look familiar to readers in the know as it is in fact a renamed Nexus 6.

Gizchina News of the week

The Moro X Pro packs a 6-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 805 chipset, 13 mega-pixel main camera and 3220mAh battery. Usually phones like this launched in China also get an upgrade to dual SIM support (such as the Galaxy Note range) however this hasn’t been mentioned for the Moto X Pro, nor has the price which needs to be low to compete with local smartphone offerings.

I’m really interested to see if it will have any success in the Chinese market cuz as you said Abbie, the competition is high there. If you can, keep us informed about this, please.
