The Mlais M4 Note has made his first appearance a while ago. Currently on pre-sales, new images of upcoming device from Mlais, surfaced on the Internet through a company profile on Instagram.

With a Design that clearly resembles the Galaxy Note 4, the Mlais M4 Note has his virtues among the thousand others devices, or even knock-offs, inspired in the phablet. With decent specs and a good construction the phone turns in a very respectful choice for the price.

Through a profile of Mlais on Instagram, we found some pictures which give us a good look on the phones final design. This time with a unit in full black color as Mlais describe it:

Gizchina News of the week

The Mlais M4 Note carries the MT6732 64-bit 1.5Ghz Quadcore, along with that we find 2GB of Ram and 16GB on-board storage. The camera listed specs are a 13MP unit on the rear and 8MP on the front, on display of 5.5-inches 720p unit powered by a battery of 2400mAh.

The listed specifications in fact do not show a big difference among the competitors in the same price range, and even the Mlais has a good example of device with higher specs in the same price range, the M52 Red Note. However the major difference presented and possibly greater justification in the handset is its construction, that includes materials like metal on frame and buttons, which have even the tactile finish in volume buttons.

The hardware specifications on the phone also includes 2G, 3G and 4G LTE (FDD-LTE B1/3/7/20 800/1800/2100/2600mhz) networks. And the software is Android 5.0 Lollipop right out the box.

If you want  pre-order one, you can do so by following this link to the listing on Gearbest. If you do, be sure to use the coupon code ‘m4note1′ to get $21 off of the listing price of $159.99!

What is the main problem with the 720p screens? Why most of china phone makers make this size screens in almost every spring model? Even Mlais MX58 about two years ago had an option of 2 models with 720/1080 screens and upped CPU rates. Why nobody does the same? Is there some manufacturing problem of the 1080 5.5″ matrix? Most of the phones with nice specs and view have that castrated 720p screen(

I would say, that 720P at 5,5″ is still OK.The main goal is that you will have a longer battery life..but I am still waiting for a sub 5″ device with up to date specs.
      btw: Jiayu S4,what’s with you?!

There is no problem if they use a high quality 720P display. It will look great and use less battery plus it is cheaper than comparable 1080p displays meaning the company can pass those savings on to you.

In this particular case, the 6732 chip does not support FHD displays, only HD.
But i get your point, it would be nicer, if we had more FHD choices.
