Did you know that Huawei also have their own alloy body earphones? Well they do, and with our special discount code you can save %50 on them right now.
Phone makers have been producing quality earphones to match their handsets for a while now. The most famous is Xiaomi and their Piston range but they are not the only ones with decent quality alloy earphones.
The Huawei Honor earphones are made from lightweight magnesium alloy and feature anti tangle cord, and three-dimensional damping system for high-fidelity music.
Gizchina News of the week
We actually received a pair of these earphones last week (ears on tomorrow) and have been quite impressed with them. Sound quality is good and I personally find them more comfortable and lighter than the Piston 1 and 2.
Normal retail price is $16, but we have been offered a %50 coupon code meaning GizChina.com readers can pick-up a pair for only $8! Coupon code is: gizpiston.

Mmmm, do I need another pair of earphones?? Probably not but at that price it’s almost rude not to! lol
Are they originals though? Looks like I don’t need them after all although $8 is just over £5 so these are still cheaper! lol
I don’t need these as I’ve got a nice selection of IEMs including my Xiaomi Pistons, Vsonic VSD3, Ostry KC06A and EarSonics SM3 but I can’t stop myself from ordering these for only £5.
Believe me I do! 😀 One for in the house (KC06A), one for everyday commute to work (Pistons), one for when I go out (VSD3) and my most expensive pair, the SM3 for when I need to spice things up. Depending on how these Huawei one’s sound it’ll either be given away to my brother or something or replace my Pistons.
emphasis on “given away” :p !
My brother lives next room to me. 😛 If I were to send it to you it would cost me more than the price of the earphones! UK postage is a ripoff!
Pistons, VSD3 and KC06A were all ordered on Aliexpress. Have to be careful with Pistons though as there are loads of fakes. EarSonics SM3 I bought from someone on Head-Fi.
I had so many different pairs of IEMs (Like RE0, Phonak PFEs, Klipsch X10, Brainwavz B2, Vsonic GR07, Etymotic HF5, Yamaha EPH100, JVC FXT90, UE700, UE TF10, Ortofon EQ5) but I sold them all on eBay for around 70% of what I paid over the last 4 years, which I am pretty happy with. I used to be an audiophile but now I just buy chinese IEMs only as they offer 90% of the sound quality of a high end set. I kept the SM3 as they’re my favourite IEM.
I used to have the SM3 but I lost them 🙁 but now the xiaomi piston does the job wel l
Ouch, SM3s are expensive. That’s why I generally don’t use my best IEMs outdoors anymore and just keep them indoors as it’s generally noisy outside anyway. (Try the London underground, the horrible screeching gets through even the best isolating IEMs!)
I got a pair of Pistons as a free gift when I bought my Mi4. I love the design of them but the performance just doesn’t come close to my Sennheisers.
What Sennheisers are you using? Everyone used to rave about the CX300 and whilst they were decent for budget earphones, they were pretty crappy when compared with offerings from the East. They’re much better than Skullcandies at least haha.
M2 IG aka Momentum. They retail for about $100 but I got them on Black Friday, they had a special if you bought a Samsung tablet you got any pair of headphones free up to a certain price. They are very good performance wise, i just hate the design of them. They are the ones below:
http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-Momentum–Ear-Black-version/dp/B00N3RFFZ2/ref=sr_1_16?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1430920922&sr=1-16
Ah, I haven’t tried those before. I assumed you were comparing it with something in the budget price point. Just noticed you were talking about the original Pistons and not the V2 so I guess that’s why the gap is big. Read some reviews of the V3 Pistons on Head-Fi and people are saying it’s less bassy but more detailed than the V2, my cup of tea really but I’ve got enough IEMs so I’ll pass on the V3 as I don’t really like their design.
Problem is I am not a fan of the design of the new pistons.
Yeah I was gonna order from them until I saw the shipping fee. Thanks to the headup from Phil I ordered it on aliexpress.
just buy awei es800m, trust me
