Blackview Crown gets a CyanogenMod 12.1 build

The Blackview Crown might not be the newest phone in town, but the phone just got a new lease of life thanks to a new ROM.

The Crown now runs CyanogenMod 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1. Considering that the phone isn’t powered by the most powerful processor in the MediaTek MT6592W, the new ROM should give the device some extra snappiness that would’ve been missing from the original ROM.

If you aren’t aware, the Blackview Crown dates back to last year (which in the smartphone language is quite a long time), and comes with a 5-inch HD display, octa-core MediaTek MT6592W procesor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM. It has a 2200mAh battery and a 13 mega-pixel rear camera with a 5 mega-pixel front snapper.

Gizchina News of the week

You should rejoice if you own one of these, for CyanogenMod 12.1 should extend the usability of the Blackview Crown by a couple or so months. You can watch the phone in action in a little demo video by Blackview as below.

since you speak of this model can resp alife p1 pro in this thing, I noticed something and I wanted to also ask all of you to this thread and if a defect in my model or you too have noticed this? in practice if the phone is in standby mode, the wireless network signal is switched off, making you not receive push notifications, then the signal is reactivated only after you turn on the screen, otherwise it remains on standby thereby disconnecting it (this thing does not happen if the device is charging usb) I have explained? I await your news
