This week on GizChina: Xiaomi Mi 4c, Elephone P9000 and more

Quite a happening week, this one. We got to know when the next Xiaomi will launch; saw a tonne of leaks around the next Meizu (and finally, something official from the company about the PRO line), and more.

If you’d been sleeping under a rock all this while, good morning, for this post is for you. Here is where you’ll find the top 5 news bits from the past week (popularity wise) in one place.

So go ahead and take note of the most noteworthy stuff!

This week on GizChina – 09/12/2015

1. Internal OnePlus email leak

OnePlus is currently working on getting the OnePlus 2 in the hands of its buyers, but clearly there’s more than just that going on in the company camps. The next OnePlus phone is around the corner, and this leaked email is proof.

2. Xiaomi Mi 4c launch date

Xiaomi rocked the tech scene with the Helio X10 powered Redmi Note 2, which is 1/5th the price of similarly spec’d phones. However, there’s more coming — the hexa-core Mi 4c — and now there’s a launch date for that.

3. Elephone P9000 specifications leak

A deca-core Elephone, i.e., the Elephone P9000 was spotted over at a reseller site. While there’s no way to ascertain the authenticity of the leaked specs, the listing does give a fair idea of what the next Elephone could be like.

4. Meizu phone with Force Touch and 10-core MediaTek processor?

Meizu just announced it’s PRO lineup, but could the Chinese phonemaker be working on a device with force touch and a 10-core MediaTek processor?

5. Ulefone Paris pre-launch pictures

Ulefone’s been quiet for a bit. This means that it is time that the Chinese OEM starts making some noise, and what better than to let out some high-quality pictures of an upcoming budget phone?
