OPPO A35 receives TENAA certification, another mid-ranger from OPPO

Not sur why, but OPPO seem to have sidelined their plans for a full blown flagship (the OPPO Find 9) to make way for a truck load of mid-rangers, most powered by the Snapdragon 615 chip.

The newest mid-ranger from OPPO is known as the A35.

The OPPO A35 just received certification in China, and was spotted courtesy the TENAA website. It’s quite the run-of-the-mill phone, as the specifications tell us.

Gizchina News of the week

Let’s get at it. First off, the screen — it’s a 5.5-inch 1280 x 720p panel, something we’ve seen on a few other OPPO phones lately. Moving on, there’s an octa-core 1.5GHz processor (presumably the Snapdragon 615), 2GB RAM, 16GB on-board storage and a microSD slot that takes 128GB cards.

There’s a 13 mega-pixel camera on the rear, and an 8 mega-pixel shooter on the front. The USP of the OPPO A35 seems to be its thickness which stands at 7.25mm (pun intended).

As you can probably already tell, I’m not too excited with this upcoming phone from OPPO. Are you?
