Onda V972 tablet deal from Lightinthebox

Even though the Onda tablets sometimes carry the sketchy reputation still they are among the most popular cheap tablet chinese brands and almost always are capable of offering a good price for the hardware inside. That’s the case with the older Onda V972 model offered for discounted price by the Lightinthebox reseller.

This looks very good for the price but I don’t know how it is in the actual use.

      Retina screen + A31 = zero usability

Atm i would recommend any dual OS Z8300 tablet from Teclast.
There are models for every budget and every needs, depending on screen – RAM/ROM – connectivity.

I would like to find something with a beautiful screen, at least 10 inch or somewhere close. I don’t care about pricing. I would like something for my girlfriend birthday, thank you.

I’d go for Teclast Tbook 10 2in1 + magnetic docking keyboard

              Intel Cherry Trail X5-Z8300
              4GB RAM + 64GB ROM
              Win 10 + Android 5.1
              10.1″ screen 1920×1200 res
6500mAh + 3500mAh (secondary battery inside docking keyboard)

              cons :
no full-sized USB on tablet itself (full sized USB port is located on the docking keyboard)
              no 3G / 4G – only WiFi

              price : $180 + $64 = $244

They offer great specs for a reason, they’re tablets suck big time and wouldn’t be worth having if they were free.

I saw some people say bad things about light in the box. They are not 100% safety?

    A31 ? 2GB RAM ? c’mon… that’s garbage
You can buy a Z8300 tablet from Teclast or Chuwi with same pricetag.

No one would recommand buying a tablet with Retina screen and A31. Even if i don’t give much credit to antutu, you should just know this crap hits only 10 to 11k.

119? if it was for 70 or less than it would be a good deal. This tablet is completely obsolete in terms of both android version and processor.

By the time you add the shipping ( $35 in my case for standard shipping ) it’s not a good deal at all.
I can buy better tablets with Atom and all from Gearbest for around $160 with shipping included.

I had one Onda device on 2015 (paid arround 150$-160$) and it was worthless. Windows wouldnt conect to my wifi, the os windows was most in chinese, some useless apps preinstaled, and the android on it..meh.. If u want a android toy, go for a phone with Full HD, there are many good phones on the market arround 150-200$. But if u are stubborn and really want a tablet..meh, i will feel sorry for u
