Vernee Apollo Lite vs. OnePlus 3 in design comparison video

Presale period for the Vernee Apollo Lite is soon coming to an end and Vernee announced that they are ready to start the distribution soon.

It’s the second phone they have released this year and because it’s also one of the few deca-core devices coming so far the spotlight and scrutiny is immense. Vernee are not afraid to even compare it with another titan of the industry in form of OnePlus 3 and the following video is comparing their product with it.

And for those interested solely in the Vernee Apollo Lite we have another video focusing only the phone in question, especially on the build quality.

If you are fan of the Apollo Lite then we have good news too, because Vernee plans to start a campaign on their website in July with flash sale events for the model. And even the giveaway and competition enthusiasts will be surely satisfied with events with Apollo Lite and Thor models as the main prizes.

UPDATE: Limited 400pcs $199.99 Apollo Lite per week Start at 09:00 (UTC) on June 29th.

Oddly enough, I like the opo-ish look of the vernee more than the op3, which I don’t hate but don’t like that much either, a little on the bland side (plus that 2mm protruding camera is hideous)

The Oppo would look a lot better if it was in another color besides dull silver.

I’ve seen the leaked picture of the red op3, and it’s still the same: it’s not “bad looking”, just doesn’t totally suit my taste for some reason (usually I like “simple” looking phones). Maybe it’s just the camera: everytime I look at it, it looks like 1 mm more protruding than previous time I looked at it lol

LOL. I currently use a Nexus 5X for work so I guess I’m used of a large camera hump, plus my old MX5 had it.

protect that camera! i saw someone on the oneplus forum that dropped his phone and it shattered his camera lens. i think he had the phone a couple days. that’s gotta hurt!

You could do this for virtually every metal phone.

if they had 4g on US bands, I would definitely give them a try. now that i can buy an LG G4 brand new for $200 or the Nexus 5X 32GB for $250, its hard to justify trying my luck with the Apollo Lite

G4 is a good phone if you can get by that hideous design (problem for all LG’s). There is no way I would pay $200+ for a Vernee that doesn’t support US LTE (a huge mistake by them IMO). I would buy a Honor 5x before a Vernee.

Oneplus 3 too thin, don’t like it. easy to drop from your hand

It’s 7.4mm thick which is about the same as every other flagship recently launched, nearly all of them are between 7-8mm.

the border of OP3 too thin, and its back is very slippery, really easy to be dropped from your hand carelessly.

I have used Oneplus 3 for a while, the camera is too protruding as I think. And it’s also too thin. But I like the design of Apollo Lite more, elegant and graceful.

SD-card is missing in OP3 and no-replaceable Battery and Oxygen overlay skin- not good OP

Apollo Lite won’t have replaceable battery either, they are both unibody metal phones which means the rear isn’t meant to be removed.
