For the first time, Huawei tied up with camera giant Leica for their camera tech on the Huawei P9. The phone was launched a few weeks back, and buyers from markets where it didn’t can now pre-order the device.

The variant of the Huawei P9 that’s on pre-sale comes with the in-house Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 955 SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM with microSD support, 12 mega-pixel dual rear cameras, 5 mega-pixel front facing camera a 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080p display, dual SIM support and a 3000mAh battery.

Recently, the P9 was in the news for a goof-up Huawei managed by posting a DSLR picture implied as one from the P9.

    Honestly, I fail to see how anyone would be surprised by this.
    We all know that most commercial photos are either tempered with or shot by DSLR cameras.

        True that, mate. However, contrary to all this the P9 does deliver great photos(just not great videos). Overall the Samsung S7 is a better phone, but it costs more.
        You should stay away from the G5 and Sony’s new X-line.

    OMG 585€ + shipping + taxes for the 3GB/32GB version… clearly not looking to get one this season. nor the next.
