The Redmi 3S Prime, on the other hand, will feature 3GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage. In addition to that, the Redmi 3S Prime will also come with a fingerprint sensor on the back.

It’s worth noting that the 6,999 INR ($104) Redmi 3S with 2GB RAM does not have a fingerprint sensor, while the Redmi 3S Prime  for 8,999 INR ($135) will have a fingerprint sensor.

Both phones will be made available in open sales via Flipkart as well as mi.com in the country, starting 9th August.
