LeEco’s Super3 lineup of 4K TVs announced in India

China’s LeEco (formerly Letv) have announced their Super3 lineup of 4K TVs in India, starting at 59,790 INR ($900).

The TVs — Super3 X65, Super3 X55 and ‘flagship’ Super3 X65 Max — all come with 4K resolution and offer on-board computing. This is made possible by A17 Quad-core CPUs (clocked at 1.4GHz) that power the TVs along with Mali T760 GPUs and 3GB RAM (2GB in Super3 55). The Super3 X65 and the Super X65 Max offer 16GB on-board storage, while the Super3 X55 comes in with 8GB ROM.

The Super3 X55 and and Super3 X65 are feature 20W speakers, while the Super X65 Max comes with a 40W setup. The TVs feature panels from LG, and along with that feature EUI 5.5TV, which is LeEco’s TV ecosystem.

The TVs have been priced 59,790 INR (Super3 X55; $900), 99,790 INR ($1500; Super3 X65) and 1,49,790 INR (Super X65 Max; $2240).

      All that plus:
      1) IPS panel? and FPR filter (3d)?
      2) dimming system?
      3) Input/output ports (how many HDMI, usb ports)? HDMI 2?
Plus many more things that need to be clarified…
      But i do not forget:
TV’s are about showing right what we want to see, not to be extra pc’s (that are welcome to be but the 1st criteria for a tv is the quality of the picture we see). So do wait for reviews before we say anything else on the TV side.
