The controversive new “upgraded” Uhans A101s is now here and ready for the customers, so it’s once again time to take a look at this weird model. Theoretically it should be an upgrade over the predecessor Uhans A101, but is that really the case ?
At a first glance the A101s does all the right things, RAM gets bumped up to 2 GB, storage unchanged with 16 GB, rear camera improved to 8 Mpix with Sony IMX219 sensor (interpolated to 13 Mpix), battery stays removable with 2450 mAh capacity and the nice design get even more color choices. So where is the catch ? That comes with a problematic processor choice, where the MT6737 gets replaced with non-4G enabled MT6580A…

I bought Uhans A101. It very much is pleasant to me. It is a pity that in the A101s model set other processor, but 2 GB of a random access memory it are very good.
