Breaking: Here Are The Specs Of All 3 Xiaomi Mi6 Variants!

xiaomi mi6 render

Ok so perhaps there are 2 phones that you should get excited about at MWC 2017!

Last year at MWC we saw something new and quite exciting! It was the first time that Xiaomi had officially been to MWC and it was the first time that the company had presented a new phone to journalists outside of launch markets (i.e China, India etc).

So with that now almost a year ago our thoughts turn to the Xiaomi Mi6, a phone that we and many of the Chinese tech industry will first see the light of day in Barcelona!

We’ve already seen rumours that the Xiaomi Mi6 would come in 3 variants and that the most basic of the phones would launch with a Mediatek Helio X30 processor, but what of the rest of the hardware details?

So what about the prices? Well as we reported before the Xiaomi Mi6 with Helio X30 should retail for around 1999 Yuan in China, prices are expected to rise to 2499 Yuan for the Xiaomi Mi6 Standard while the flagship Xiaomi Mi6 Premium will cost as much as 2999 Yuan!

We will have to wait until MWC 2017 to see if these details do in fact turn out to be accurate but in the meantime we would love to hear what you think.

Yeah, just like mi5 was supposed to launch with a base model with helio x20 and it was supposed to be more expensive too… It’s the same rumor from last year, I won’t believe it until it’s official

The Premium version sounds and look good on the specs sheet. Hope it is as great when launched!

And the Pinecone version were left out… seems that Xiaomi stopped to develop their own in house chips.

Unless… they are preparing it for the Xiaomi Redmi Note series.

    Still no Western LTE bands.

    • January 19, 2017

Do you mean western Europe? Canada? Both have many carriers with LTE Band 7 (2600), so I guess you mean only the US when you say ‘western’??

These stats are fairly predictable. What I want to know is the screen size and physical dimensions. I won’t be interested in any of these phones if they are 5.5 inches. Even the Mi 5S is bigger than the Mi 5. I won’t buy any of the 6’s unless they are as small or preferably smaller in overall size and weight than the Mi 5. Xiaomi scored a real home run when they came out with the Mi 5 at only 129 grams. Can’t expect them to beat that but coming close would get me buying.
