An OTA update has brought something rather unusual for phones from Chinese companies to the LeEco Le Pro3 and Le S3: an app drawer.
As many GizChina readers would be aware, most Chinese phone makers have their own Android forks. While they differ a fair bit, they usually have one thing in common — the lack of an app drawer. Which is why, the inclusion of one seems a bit surprising for now.
The app drawer will sit in the dock, right where you usually see it on other phones: in the center. Looks pretty surprising to anyone who’s used a LeEco before!
Besides the app drawer, the update (deemed major) brings improved camera performance besides the usual OTA refinements.
The part of the update regarding the camera has mostly to do with low-light photos, and the company claims that the phones will be able to take better ones now.
