MGCOOL Explorer 1S budget 4K action camera now on pre-order


MGCOOL Explorer 1S

Some days back, MGCOOL launched the their new MGCOOL Explorer 4K action camera that costs $49.99 and features 4K @15fps video recording, H.264 codec and waterproof rating up to 30m. Some time after the accessories maker also announced the MGCOOL Explorer 1S, a very similar camera but with 4K @24fps video capability, multiple FOV options and 20MP image resolution.

The new MGCOOL Explorer 1S adopts a Sony IMX078 and 4 lens angles with 70, 110,140 and 170-degrees. Other than recording 4K @24fps, it can also record 2K @30fps and 1080p @60fps. The Explorer 1S also allows the user to record video at four different view angles, they are 70°, 110°, 140°, 170°, depending on their needs.

The action camera comes with large amount of accessories like waterproof housing, bracket, bicycle stand, helmet base and more, so you can mount it on anything from the get-go.

With the weather getting warmer, the MGCOOL Explorer 1S might come in handy to capture outdoorsy footage, assuming you’re into taking videos of cool stuff!
