Meizu’s new teaser hints at the secondary display of the Pro 7

A new teaser poster was released earlier today on the official Charm Blue Weibo page and it seems to hint on the secondary display of the upcoming Meizu Pro 7 model.

The teaser poster seems to be referring to phone users who mute all forms of message notification but can’t stop looking at the phone every now and then to see if there is a new message. This surely looks like the type of users that the Pro 7’s secondary display is aimed at, by giving information about date, time, weather information, calls and message notifications.

Gizchina News of the week

We have seen this secondary display appear in a couple of recent leaks and according to rumors, it’s going to be made from e-ink (electronic ink) with always on feature that will have minimal impact on the phone’s battery life, perhaps even improve it! Apart from this special design feature that could prove to be a game changer for some people, the upcoming Meizu Pro 7 flagship model is expected to be equipped with Mediatek’s Helio X30 SoC (10-core chipset) along with 6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage. The device should pack a 12MP Sony IMX386 + 12MP Sony IMX286 dual camera setup, and it should be unveiled next month.

What do you think about this design guys? Would you use the secondary display?
