Meizu to reveal bezel-less phone next year, says Li Nan

Meizu recently revealed the M6 Note which went out of stock in hardly any time, with the company reporting sales of over 200,000 units. The latest news comes from Meizu’s Li Nan, who indicated towards Meizu’s foray into the market of bezel-less phones.

Gizchina News of the week

Meizu is one of the few companies who is late in the race of the bezels. With big shots like Samsung offering immersive display experience, Meizu has been left behind. But Li Nan has assured that they are working on a bezel-less smartphone, the mblu Zero. The mblu Zero falls under the Blue Charm product line, which brought to us the most recent M6 Note, the first device by Meizu to sport a Snapdragon chipset. The Blue Charm line was brought into effect after a restructuring of Meizu.

The photo of the mblu Zero that leaked shows only a part of the alleged smartphone. Although late, Meizu can still make a difference in the market if they get their product right. Lin Ben assured that they are working on a bezel less smartphone which will see the light of day in the coming year.

Will Meizu be able to get the bezel-less equation right? stay tuned to find out more!

The mblu Zero comes under the Blue Charm product line which specialize in budget phones. Very unlikely it would have a Snapdragon 845 and 6/8GB RAM, that’s wishful thinking as Meizu have just recently sorted out their problems with Qualcomm, not to mention that Samsung would probably have all the 845’s for themselves for the first few months of production. A Helio X30 with at least 4GB of RAM or more would do a decent job and obviously aggressively priced would guarantee good sales but I guess that’s wishful thinking as well, a bit more realistic than what you want but probably still unlikely.

Bring one phone bezelless at least with Mtk P23 processor such that we can have a dual sim simultaneously operating both the SIMs in 4G with worldwide Bands.
