Vivo X20 Specs Reveal Face Wake And 2K Display

Vivo is set to launch the Vivo X20 later this week with Face Wake, a rival to Apple’s Face ID.

Wait! Hang on, the retail box? Yup, someone has managed to get their hands on a few Vivo X20 phones, all boxed up and ready for sale, ahead of the official launch on Thursday 21st September. For Vivo these leaks couldn’t come at a worse time, but for Vivo fans, the info comes right on time.

Authorised retailers of Vivo phones across China will already have stock of the X20 ready for launch later this week and this is where we believe this leak came from/

The packaging for the new phone looks just like all other Vivo phones that came before it and reveal the Vivo X20 specifications to be as follows:

  • Snapdragon 660 processor
  • Dual rear 12 megapixel cameras
  • Face Wake
  • AK4376A HIFI chip

What’s exciting here is the Face Wake feature, an obvious new security feature that has been designed to rival Face ID on the iPhone X. It’s also interesting to see the X20 has a6-inchh 2K display, similar to the original Vivo Xplay 3S launched a few years ago.
