We’ve been following with keen interest news surrounding the HTC U11 plus for a while now, and it appears we are close to an official announcement. A device with model number “HTC 2Q4D200″ purported to be the Chinese variant of HTC U11 plus has been approved by China’s CCC (3C) authority– a compulsory requirement for all devices meant for the Chinese market. It is worth mentioning that this same device with same model number had earlier received Bluetooth certification from SIG authority.

We reported very recently that the device might be unveiled before year-end, but that may not happen without it passing through TENAA, that way we’ll know what to expect of the device in terms of internal makeup.
