Bixby, Samsung’s AI assistant was released some time ago. At the time of its launch, it was only compatible with Korean language and its development has faced some turbulence. Presently, Bixby is now compatible with English language  and the South Korean giant is currently working on its compatibility with Chinese. Bixby has a dedicated button on Galaxy S8, S8+, and Note 8 but coonsidering the fact that its performance has not really been top-notch, many owners of these devices either hijack the hardware button and use it for other purposes, or totally ignores its existence.

Recent reports suggests that Samsung has now adjusted a bit via a recent update which allow users to disable the Bixby button. Well, users now have to decide if they need the Bixby button. To get this update, go to Galaxy Apps > My Apps > Update, you will find an update available for a host of Bixby services and apps. Just click “Update All”, and your device should do the rest.
