Infinix Zero 5 and Zero 5 pro unveiled Globally

After the warm reception it received in some African and some Middle East Countries, Infinix Mobility decided to foray into the larger India market with the launch of the Hot 4 pro and Note 4 pro some months back. Now the company has decided to bring it flagship Zero series to the Global Market with the unveiling of the Infinix Zero 5 and Zero 5 pro in India and to the Global Market.

The Zero 5 pro isn’t fundamentally much different to the regular Zero 5, only that it comes with larger 128GB of expandable storage and a special Sandstone Black color.

You would be disappointed if you are expecting the trending Full screen from the latest Infinix flagship; in its place is a dual camera setup and a capable front-facing camera. And to serve your photographic needs, Infinix has fitted the phone with a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and dual LED Flash and a secondary 13-megapixel camera with telephoto lens, f/2.6 aperture, and 2x optical zoom. For selfies and video calls, the device boost of a 16-megapixel camera with LED flash.

Featuring a unibody metal design, the Zero 5 got a rear fingerprint sensor, dedicated dual SIM slots and comes with a 5.98 1920×1080 IPS display. The chipset of choice is the octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 with a clock speed of 2.6GHz. The device has 6GB of RAM with 64GB native storage for the Zero 5, while the Zero 5 Pro comes with 128GB storage.  Both storage options can further be expanded up to 128GB with microSD.

The device packs a full set of connectivity options including 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. GPS, USB-Type C, and 3.5mm audio jack. It boots Android 7.0 Nougat with Infinix XOS 3.0 UI out of the box, while a 4300mAh battery keeps it alive.

Available color options include; Champagne Gold and Bordeaux Red colors for the Zero 5, while the Zero 5 pro includes Sandstone Black color. Both devices are exclusive to Flipkart India where it will go on sale fromNov 22nd at Rs. 17,999 and Rs. 19,999 for the base variant and the Zero 5 pro.
