The Elephone S9 is finally here! Wait, do not celebrate too early. We’re only talking about the first real look at the device. The smartphone is still being worked on but according to the company it’ll be launching very soon. So, without further ado, check out the Elephone S9 in the image below.
As most might have noticed the Elephone S9 is heavily inspired by Samsung’s latest S8, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. We may indeed get a similar infinity display with the beautiful curved edges and slim bottom and top bezels at less than half the price.
Elephone say that the one in the photo above is an engineering sample running stock Android 8.0 Oreo, so they still have to improve it and give it a more unique look, although some might even prefer it as it is.
Other than that, we can see the very sharp and bright AMOLED display on the S9, with the trendy 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone does look easy too handle as it extends in height more than width, also thanks to the slim side bezels.
Let’s not forget that Elephone are also working on the S9 Pro, the handset that will be packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, an NFC chip and an actually working dual camera setup powered by Arcsoft. We’re really looking forward to check out this device, what about you?
