All-screen BLUBOO S2 with rotating camera is looking very promising

During the 2018 MWC, numerous smartphone brands emulated the “notch” design of the iPhone X and showed their own models with similar look. But some of the phone makers are forgetting, that the notch design has been specifically made for housing the true-depth camera and the sensors, while many are keeping it just as a decoration and self-serving gimmick. The notch display design is so popular even the upcoming flagship models like the Vivo X21 and Huawei P20 will have it.

But there are still those, who are trying to come with a different original approach like BLUBOO with their BLUBOO S2 model. Their solution is the rotating camera, which  serves both as main rear camera and a selfie shooter. As revealed, the camera is a Sony customized one with 21MP resolution and f/1.8 aperture, which should present quite satisfying photo performance. By adapting a rotating camera BLUBOO S2 can get bigger body-screen-ratio, than the competition, which is never a bad thing.

Gizchina News of the week

To improve the user experience, BLUBOO even specially design a special kind of accessory for the rotating camera. With the accessory, the user can instantly rotate the camera with only one finger. What’s more the accessory can be designed in different shapes and colors, so it’s also a decoration, making your phone look cool and unique. And it’s already packaged in the box so no extra cost associated.

The rotating camera is quite an interesting idea and judging by the MWC 2018 appearance the BLUBOO S2 is shaping up to be one of the best phones coming up in the near future. The Oppo N1 and N3 did this. I had the N3 and loved the motorized rotating camera.
