OnePlus 6 To Sport A Heart Rate Sensor?


All the excitement regarding OmePlus 6 will soon be laid to rest as the company gets set to unveil this device on May 17th at the Beijing 798 Art Zone by 10:00. Today, Oneplus CEO, Liu Zuhu, revealed a salient and technical aspect of this smartphone. He released a warm-up poster on Weibo showing an electrocardiogram and just at the middle of the readings, we have the number “6” written. This implies that OP6 may be equipped with a health sports feature like a heart rate sensor which will make this smartphone a bit different.

As of now, not many smartphones come with a heart rate monitoring sensor thus this will be a plus for the OP6. The design of OnePlus 6 is no longer a secret as it will come with a notch and its rear will be made from a glass material. It is to sport a 6.28 inch 2280×1080 resolution AMOLED screen and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. We will also have an 8GB/256GB variant. In the camera department, we have a 20MP+16MP dual rear camera setup coupled with another 16MP front shooter. This smartphone will run on Android 8.1 out of the box and its lights will be kept on by a 3300 mAh battery. As for its pricing, speculations believes that this smartphone should not exceed 4,000 Yuan ($628).
