The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is pegged to be launched on August 9 alongside the Note 9. So far, leaks have revealed pretty much every aspect of its design. A few specifications have also leaked. The latest report by SamMobile confirms the presence of Iris and intelligent scanner as the primary mode of security.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is the top end variant in the line of Samsung tablets. Video descriptions that have leaked showcase how the face recognition and iris scanner work in tandem. It is the same kind of functionality that is present on the Galaxy S9 and S9+. The Tab S4 will come equipped with the new, revamped S-Pen.
Recently all the specs of the Tab S4 were leaked. It is expected to sport a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 2560 x 1600p resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip-set coupled with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of on-board storage. A 7300mAh battery is expected to be a part of the unit. An 8MP camera on the front and a 13MP camera on the rear are said to adorn the tab. Images hint at the presence of AKG sound engineering on the tab. It will apparently have support for Samsung’s DeX.
