HMD teases Phone launch in India, Nokia 6.1 plus expected

Indications emerged last month that HMD Global could soon be bringing its notched Nokia X6 to India under the Nokia 6.1 Moniker. Now, the brand via its Twitter handle has released a teaser that suggests it could be holding a launch event in India soon, and to that effect, the brand is organizing a contest for users who are 18+ years and above.  The contest will afford 50 winners the opportunity to part of the exclusive launch event.

Although of what the brand intends to launch are scares, speculations are that the brand will be bringing the Nokia X6 and X5 or even the Nokia 2.1 to India under the Nokia 6.1 plus and Nokia 5.1 plus moniker. However, the likely hood is that of the Nokia 6.1 Plus which we earlier spotted on the official Indian website with its user guide and India SAR details.

HMD Global launched the Nokia X6 in China earlier in May and has since been launched in several other countries including Taiwan and Hong Kong under the Nokia 6.1 Moniker.
