On July 18, Huawei launched one of its most anticipated smartphones in face of the Nova 3. Traditionally, the Nova series handsets were designed for young customers. Therefore, they should come with a stylish look, good camera, and powerful hardware. But young customers can’t pay much. So the Nova phones should be also priced affordably. Honestly, Huawei could find the golden mean. And the Huawei Nova 3 is one of the best proofs. Initially, there have been four color options to choose from – Black, Blue, Purple, and Gold. As for today, the manufacturer officially announced it opens an appointment at 10:08 (Beijing time) today and launches the acacia red variant of the phone. This version will go on sale on August 17 at a price tag of 2999 yuan ($435).
However, the rest of the features remain the same. Thus, the Huawei Nova 3 Acacia Red variant still uses a 6.3-inch notch screen with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2340×1080, a Kirin 970 processor, a 6GB of memory, a 128GB of storage, and a battery capacity of 3750mAh. The phone runs on EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1. At the same time, it supports GPU Turbo graphics acceleration, gallery search, 3D Qmoji AR dynamic expression, AI wisdom map, intimate assistant, etc.
The Huawei Nova 3 is also the first Nova-series phone with a quad-camera. The front 24MP + 2MP dual-camera supports 2m × 1.5m zoom and is based on AI technology that can intelligently identify a variety of typical scenes to configure camera parameters automatically. On the back, it carries a 24MP (black and white) + 16MP (color) dual-camera with a dual f/1.8 aperture, a smart recognition of 22 categories and 500+ scenes to configure camera parameters automatically.
