Gizchina News of the week

The most important change seems to be at the front with the tear-drop notch taking prominence amongst OEMs slowly. This will soon be the norm in most Chinese handsets in the coming months. One of the images shows the ‘About Phone’ section of the settings and that’s very kind of the leakster. That precious page also happens to keep the processor details and we’re glad to see ‘Snapdragon 670’ inscribed on that page. This had not been earlier hinted at by a Geekbench listing that suggested a Snapdragon 710 chip. However, another leak on AnTuTu suggested the opposite. This one in the image reiterates the Snapdragon 670 listing. It also seems that this unit will have an on-screen fingerprint reader as there is no sign of it on the surface of the chassis.

As per available official data, the handset will have a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, 3D facial recognition, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Pre-orders of the device are already on and the official unveiling will be on September 6th. Stay tuned for more info coming up soon.
