A few days ago, Xiaomi officially said that it will hold a new product launch in Chengdu on September 19th, when the new Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition will be released. This smartphone is simply a lower version of the Xiaomi Mi 8 which will come at a lower price. Today, Chinese media picked up a video preview allegedly released by Xiaomi which shows that the rear of this smartphone comes with a mirror gradient design.
From the information given by TENAA, this smartphone will use a white glass body which is quite different from the current information. It seems that the Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition will also have a rear mirrored gradient design version.
From the speculations so far, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition comes with a 6.26-inch notched screen with a display resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9 ratio. Its body measurement is 156.4 × 75.8 × 7.5mm, which is not much different from the traditional 5.5-inch mobile phone. As earlier speculated, this smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor coupled with 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB of internal storage. In the camera department, we have a dual rear 12MP primary snapper with an unspecified secondary shooter. Up front, its got a massive 24MP camera for selfies. The lights of this device will be kept on by a modest 3,250 mAh battery but there is no information on the operating system.
