Asus ZenFone 6 Prototype Leaked in Video, Offset Camera Notch is Coming?

ASUS Zenfone 6

Italian news site HDBlog just released a leaked video of what appears to be the upcoming ASUS ZenFone 6 (or at least a prototype of it), which is still far from the limelight, as they later confirm; the handset will actually be unveiled at the MWC 2019 scheduled for February 25th.

As we’ve seen a couple days back ASUS has different ZenFone 6 prototypes in their arsenal, some of which are rather odd looking and will probably never see the light of day.

We’re specifically talking of the handset with the front camera placed on the top-right corner of the display. A design that is hardly any better than the notch we’ve sadly been accustomed to.

Reports also add that this camera placement is perfectly optimized in software, so there shouldn’t be any problem as far as the status bar and notifications are concerned, but that’s really not the point.

Moving onto the rest of the body we find a glass back with a metal frame in-between to keep things together, two rear cameras, an USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.

As we previously mentioned, these are most likely prototypes and they’ll never come into the market, or at least we hope so. We somehow doubt anybody would pick this design over a notch or tear-drop camera like one the OnePlus 6T.
