The Redmi 7 has not yet received a launch date but has appeared on TENAA a while back, but today a full-blown video on YouTube came online revealing all about the upcoming affordable phone. We’re already aware of a lot of specifications already and our main area of concern is the processor. Thankfully, the YouTube video from a Vietnamese channel reveals it all. In fact, there are two videos on separate channels. Take a look at them below.

Gizchina News of the week

The Redmi 7 is powered by a Snapdragon 632 SoC which is at least a good step up from the MediaTek SoCs used by the company the last time around. The Snapdragon 632 SoC is a 14nm chip clocked at 1.8GHz and has an Adreno 506 GPU.

Colour choices galore as eight hues were reported in the TENAA listing. Those include eight colour variants, including black, red, blue, pink, white, green, purple, and grey. There’s a 6.26-inch HD+ display powered by a 3900mAh battery and a dual  12MP+8MP dual camera resides on the back of the upcoming handset.

Xiaomi is holding a global launch event on March 6 and we could hear more about the lineup at the event in Spain.

I’m not concerned for the soc, but for the dimensions! This abomination is bigger than the note version, how do they call it “redmi 7”?
