Information regarding the Huawei Mate 30 smartphone are already beginning to drip in, but we are already bracing up for a massive wave of leaks, given that the Chinese phone maker has delivered on the P30 and P30 Pro, so all its engineers and team could have ample time to earnestly begin work on its second flagship device for the year.
Today we’re getting to know the more about the upcoming HUAWEI Mate 30, although not related to its design or technical specs. A Huawei country official in Malaysia at a press briefing recently allegedly confirmed that the company has begun internal testing on the Huawei P30, and while no detail specs were given, the same Exec confirmed the device could land much later in September or October, although its far too early to assert any specific launch date.
Compared to the latest Huawei P30 P30 Pro, one of the latest update the Mate 30 will get is the support for the next generation mobile connectivity and that means it will get a 5G ready SoC which perhaps could be the Kirin 985 or whatever name Huawei decides to call its next major update to the Kirin 980 SoC.
Not much else is known about the device t the moment, however, a Huawei patent from earlier this year shows a phone case with space on the back for extra camera lenses, which perhaps suggest the Huawei Mate 30 or its Pro variant could come with up to five rear lenses, up from three on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

Whenever the Mate 30 arrives, it’s worth noting that the device probably wont make it to the US, given Huawei’s ongoing issues US, authorities, unless a soft landing is secured before then.
