Lenovo releases three new Chromebook models

Lenovo makes some excellent value for money Chromebooks and the company has just refreshed its portfolio with three new models with Intel processors today. The smallest and also likely the most affordable will be the Lenovo Chromebook C340-11. The second one is the Lenovo Chromebook C340-15 which is the most powerful model and a third one labelled Lenovo Chromebook S340-14 which is kind of something in the middle. Prices of all the three models have not been revealed yet.

The Chromebook C340-11 has an 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel touchscreen 360-degree convertible display and is powered by an Intel Celeron N4000 dual-core Gemini Lake processor. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. In terms of ports, you get two USB 3.1 Type-A ports, two USB-C ports, a microSD card reader and a 720p webcam.

The Chromebook S340-14 interestingly comes with two resolution options – 1366 x 768p or 1920 x 1080p and a 180-degree hinge. The processor is an Intel Celeron N4000 processor . Details about RAM isn’t clear but there should at least be a 4GB version with 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. Port options are the same as the above model.

Chromebook S340-14

The Lenovo Chromebook C340-15 has a 15.6 inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel touchscreen with a full 360-degree hinge. The processor is an 8th-gen Intel “Kaby Lake Refresh” processor. Storage options available will be 32GB/64GB/128GB coupled with 4GB of RAM. It’s also got a backlit keyboard and a separate numeric keypad. The ports options are – USB 3.1 Type-A port and two USB-C ports.
