Samsung Galaxy M30s to come with 6,000mAh battery; prices also revealed

Galaxy M30S

Samsung is rumored to increase its Galaxy A and M portfolio in the coming months. Among the new S-upgrades, we expect to see the Galaxy M20s and M30s coming soon. The first is rumored to come with a massive battery of 6,000mAh. Now, reports indicate that the M30s will also feature a large battery of 6,000mAh. This makes us question if Samsung will in fact release two devices with such capacity. Could Galaxy M30s be the true monster we’ve been hearing about?

The latest report by IANS states that the upcoming device will be priced at INR15,000 ($210/€190) and INR20,000 ($280/€250) depending on the variant. Furthermore, it says that it will upgrade the original Galaxy M30’s 5,000mAh battery to the rumored 6,000mAh unit. There are no details about the specifications, however, the handset is said to feature an Exynos SoC that isn’t available in the current Galaxy M lineup.

Gizchina News of the week

Judging by a GeekBench listing of the M30s from June, the smartphone will ship with the Exynos 9610 SoC. The M30s will ship with a teardrop notch display and a triple-camera setup on the rear which is inside of a wide rectangular island. The camera department will be joined by a fingerprint scanner.

The number of leaks that we’ve been seeing about the GalaxY M30s is increasing every day. I believe that its launch will be sooner than expected. Of course, the handset will launch first in India.
