Xiaomi is all set to launch its next iteration of a cheaper budget smartphone dubbed Redmi 8A in the Indian market. The smartphone will see its official unveiling on September 25 which is right around the corner. As the name suggests, the device is going to be a follow-up to the previous Redmi 7A. Xiaomi Redmi 8A with Type-C and Fast Charging Confirmed
Xiaomi’s Global Vice President and Indian Managing Director, Manu Jain, has posted a picture of the device on his official Twitter account earlier today. The post reveals the design of the smartphone from the back featuring a single rear camera and Blue color. Apart from the design, the tweet also confirms two key features of the device. According to Manu Jain, Xiaomi Redmi 8A will come with a USB Type-C port along with fast charging support. He also claims that Redmi 8A might be the only device to come with these two features in the price segment.

As mentioned earlier, the smartphone has been leaked numerous time previously. The design of Redmi 8A resembles the previous TENAA listing of Redmi smartphone with model number M1908C3KE.
