The Chinese smartphone maker -Huawei a few days ago drop some tidbit of information regarding the Huawei Nova 5Z, and has today unveiled the device in China. The Nova 5Z jacks up the number of smartphones under the 5 series to a total of 6 – up from 5 – including the standard Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro, Nova 5T, Nova 5i, and Nova 5i Pro.
The Nova 5Z wears the same look as the Nova 5i Pro – glass panels on the front and rear with a metallic frame. There is a punch-hole display on the front, while the rear gets a fingerprint reader seated below a quad-camera setup arranged in a squarish manner.
The device gets the same 6.26-inch Full HD+ display with a punch-hole design, as well as the same 32-megapixel in-screen camera on the 5i Pro. The rear camera comes in the form of a 48-megapixel main snapper coupled with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 2-megapixel camera for 2cm macro, while a 2-megapixel camera depth sensor completes the formation. The device supports AI handheld super night scene, portrait mode, and wide-angle distortion correction.

Of course, the device boots EMUI 9.1 based Android 9 Pie OS out of the box and is powered by the same 7nm Kirin 810 chipset. It is available in 6 GB of RAM /128GB, as well as 8GB/128GB of storage options. Both variants are expandable via a nanoSD card slot.
