Redmi Note 8T leaked in renders, but not different from the RN8

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro

Even before the Redmi Note 8 launched outside the shore of China, there were already speculations there will be a T variant of the Note 8 series. While Xiaomi’s backed Redmi has yet to confirm that,  leaks have surfaced showing off renders of the said device: the Redmi Note 8T.

The device is seen alongside the Redmi Note 8 in the render, and from what we can see, there is striking similarities between both smartphones. Prominent there is the vertically aligned Quad-camera setup with an LED flash.  And beside that is a Fingerprint scanner.

This would suggest the rumored Redmi Note8T isn’t coming with any significant update – at least in terms of the outlook, though we are yet to see renders of the front view.
