Huawei Nova 6 to Come with 32MP Dual Selfie Cameras
The Chinese smartphone maker posted a short video teaser on its official Weibo social platform. The teaser shows a user clicking selfie shots with her pet cat. At the end of the video, the brand reveals the presence of a 32MP selfie shooter on the front. Furthermore, the entire teaser ad touts the selfie capabilities of the device. Teased previously, the upcoming Nova 5 5G will feature a punch-hole display housing two selfie sensors.
With the help of a new dual-camera module, users will be able to click 105-degree ultrawide selfies without using any selfie stick. Sadly, the teaser doesn’t reveal anything else about the front camera module. The phone will see its official unveiling on December 5 i.e. next month. We’re expecting more similar teasers to come forward in the coming days.
Looking at the previous leaks and rumors, Huawei Nova 6 5G will feature an IPS LCD display with punch-hole design. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Kirin 990 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.1 storage. We might see a 12MP selfie shooter along with the teased 32MP lens. At the back, there is a quad-camera module featuring 60MP, 16MP, 12MP, and 2MP sensors. All of this is backed by a 4,000mAh battery packed inside. For biometrics, there should be a fingerprint sensor on the side instead of the back.
As the name suggests, the smartphone will support the latest 5G connectivity standards. There should be different memory variants – 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB.
