Skagen has launched a successor to its popular smartwatch from last year, Skagen Falster 3, which like its predecessor is also powered by Google’s Wear OS platform. If you have never heard of the brand Skagen, it is a subsidiary to Fossil which is also famous for its Wear OS-based smartwatches.
As far as performance is concerned, the Falster 3 is powered by the latest Snapdragon 3100 SoC inside it. If you are someone who likes to take phone calls from your smartwatch, the Skagen Falster 3 will let you do so as it comes with a speaker too.
Similar to other smartwatch designs like the Apple Watch and Samsung’s Gear lineup, you get a rotating crown on one side of this smartwatch from Skagen. In addition to that, you also get two push buttons on either side of the crown. You get 1GB RAM inside the smartwatch and it comes with 8GB of internal storage. As for the display, you have a 42mm dial which has a 1.3-inch OLED display.
As for the watch strap options, you get leather, metal mesh or silicone mesh as per your preference. The company claims that its smartwatch is swim-proof for 30 meters and has NFC and GPS functionality. Skagen Falster 3 is priced at $295 and will be available from January 7.
